Winterland at the V&A

My 'Winterland' tree was commissioned by the V&A as part of their set of Christmas cards this year. The pack features work by four contemporary illustrators and can be purchased here. The design also spreads across the V&A shop for the 2014 festive season, on display areas, columns and till points.

Classic FM's Big Book of Classical Music is now out. A fully illustrated hard cover book published by Elliott & Thompson, detailing each day of the year in classical music. Full page and spot illustrations by me accompany each chapter.

BBC History Magazine

This illustration will be featured in the June issue of the BBC History Magazine. It accompanies an article about five monks from Canterbury Cathedral who in 1178 reported to have seen an explosion on the moon. I wanted the style to mirror medieval manuscripts. Hope you like it.

The Modern Peasant

Reincarnation Exhibition

A Curious Invitation

I designed the cover for this fantastic book by Suzette Field, which will be published by Picador in October. I also created 40 black and white chapter illustrations which run through the book. This first hardback edition has gold spot varnish on the details that are here yellow - really beautiful! Check here for details and a sneak preview of the various chapters. Tinta: Art Print Exhibition

DLD magazine

Christmas display

Classified, a western style Deli in Hong Kong asked me to produce some Christmassy illustrations for their pop up shop. The way they animated them on their website is quite funny... take a look here... make sure you have the sound on... and scroll over the images. Happy Christmas time everyone!

Cover design: The Book of Friendship

This beautifully produced hardback book was published earlier this month by Little Brown Books. I did the cover illustration and Sian Wilson was the art director for this title.

DLD and Bavarian National Museum

These collage figures of mine were used on banners outside the Bavarian National Museum in Munich to advertise an event organized by DLD and Siemens to celebrate the Women's Football World Cup in June. The illustrations were taken from the invite for the event which I co-designed with my good friend and talented artist Rina Donnersmarck.

Leela's Book

Leela's Book by Alice Albinia was published this month by Harvill Secker in a beautiful hard cover edition with a cover designed by me. The die-cut dust jacket reveals part of a second layer of illustrations covering the actual book. This job was a great opportunity to apply my love for paper engineering. Pick up a copy and enjoy!
